A New Try for Massage Therapy Licensure in Minnesota

Senate File 967 and House File 973 have been introduced this legislative session. Both bills would require massage therapists and Asian bodywork therapists to be state licensed. MN Massage Therapy and Asian Bodywork Therapy Licensing Bills—UPDATE

Senate File 1074 and House File 1275 would require statewide licensure for massage therapists and Asian bodywork therapists in Minnesota. Unfortunately, neither bill was assigned to or heard in committee and will not move forward in the legislative process this year.
