Delaware massage therapists must complete 24 hours of continuing education each renewal cycle. Of the 24 hours, nine must be hands on and completed in a classroom setting. The Board of Massage and Bodywork (Board) has proposed a continuing education rule that would allow these nine hours to be taken online for the license renewal period ending August 21, 2022.
If you would like to submit written comments to the Board in support of or opposition to the proposed rule, send your comments to danielle.ridgway@delaware.gov before May 6, 2022. You can use ABMP’s advocacy template as a guide to help write your commentary. There will also be a public hearing on April 21, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the address below.
