ABMP members, we have compiled 5 popular webinars so that you can learn popular subject matter at your convenience! Watch the webinars on demand in the ABMP Education Center, then take a short quiz to earn free CE hours.
A Detailed Approach to Low-Back Pain: Join Allison Denney of Rebel Massage for a dynamic webinar that takes an in-depth look at the muscles, structures, and common dysfunctions of the lumbar region while putting the “fun” in functional anatomy. Detailed muscles painted on a client show the relationship between where the muscles are, what they do, and how they most often create a pain response. Explore examples of how each of the three common low-back issues—overuse injuries, muscles strains, and trigger points—occurs and learn practical treatment approaches you can use with your clients today.
Maintaining Sexual Ethics: Part 1-Key Concepts: Every person in massage workplace or school environments must maintain the highest sexual ethics. This webinar aims to provide clarity on key terms and concepts related to sexual innuendo, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation. This content is for all massage profession stakeholders, including massage practitioners, clinic owners, managers, and staff, as well as massage school administrators, faculty, and students. With a common, informed language, the massage profession can hold honest, meaningful discussions about how to protect clients and each other from unwanted, inappropriate, or violent sexual behaviors.
Stretching the Neck: Join Dr. Joe Muscolino for a comprehensive course on stretching the neck. Learn to effectively stretch the six major functional muscle groups in the neck: the flexors and extensors in the sagittal plane, the right lateral flexors and left lateral flexors in the frontal plane, and the right rotators and left rotators in the transverse plane. An emphasis is placed on optimal body mechanics and client positioning while performing multiple techniques including static stretching, dynamic stretching, pin and stretch, contract-relax, and agonist-contract.
Read Dr. Muscolino’s accompanying Massage & Bodywork magazine article, “Stretching the Neck,” in the May/June 2019 issue.
Fibromyalgia: The Invisible Disease: Fibromyalgia syndrome is the second-most commonly diagnosed musculoskeletal disorder in the United States—only osteoarthritis is diagnosed more often. Yet, little is well understood about this common condition—including that it turns out NOT to be a musculoskeletal disorder. This course will examine current thinking about the etiology of fibromyalgia and implications for the safe and effective practice of massage therapy for our clients who live with this challenging condition.
Self-Care for Your Wrists and Upper Body: Save your wrists! Join instructor Sunny Klaber for a dynamic self-care webinar that focuses on career-saving wrist and upper-body techniques. Follow along as she guides you through exercises to enhance your strength, balance, and stability including demonstrations of the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment, a series of shoulder stretches, and a yoga flow for the upper body with a focus on the wrists and shoulders. You’ll finish this webinar with techniques you can immediately integrate into your self-care routine.
We recommend you have the following materials available to follow along with the instructor: rice pack, yoga mat, yoga strap, and wall access for stretches.

I'm having trouble accessing these courses.
I'm grateful to have these 5 courses offered for no charge for CEUs.
However, they are not loading on my computer. Are they no longer offered?
