UPDATE: If you’re looking for photos and imagery for your marketing or promotional materials that show proper safety protocols for the COVID-19 era, Unsplash.com and Pexels.com have a lot of great images you can use free of charge with no restrictions.
Photography has always been an integral part of design. But sometimes it can be hard to know where to find stock photography, or what sort of restrictions or requirements come with a given photo. Luckily, there is a growing number of websites with free, beautiful stock photography. In this post, we’ve curated a list of these websites for free stock photos that massage therapists and bodyworkers can use in your marketing materials, in your social media posts, or on your website.
The key to finding the best image available is to start with simple keywords in your searches: “woman,” “happy,” “laptop,” “wellness,” “spa,” “yoga,” “leaf,” “stones,” “candle,” etc. For example, you may find suitable images under “aromatherapy,” but if you require a more specific image, you may want to use the word “flower” first to find what you need.
Quick Note About Licenses
Many of these photographs are free from copyright restrictions or licensed under creative commons public domain dedication. This means you can copy, modify, distribute, and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, without asking permission. However, some photos may require attribution.

anatomy
As a teacher, I would love to have muscle images also available. None of the sites I have checked so far do. Anyone aware of a free site with muscle and other anatomy images?
