2016 AFMTE Annual Membership Meeting to be Held Online

The Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) announced that their annual business meeting will be held online this year, making it cost effective for members to participate without incurring travel expenses.

“We are hosting an online annual business meeting in the even years and an in-person meeting during the Educational Congress in the odd years,” says Stan Dawson, AFMTE’s Vice President.

The meeting will be held on July 14, 2016, from 2:30–4:30 p.m. EDT. The focus of the meeting is to update members about business and committee work during the past year.

The meeting agenda is to include a financial report, election information, updates on the National Teacher Education Standards Project, the 2017 Educational Congress, association updates, and committee reports. They have also allotted time for Q&A so that everyone will have an opportunity for their voices to be heard and addressed.

Please contact admin@afmte.org if you have questions, and click here now to register to attend.
