Hand & Stone Approved CE Provider for Massage Therapists

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, the nation’s fastest growing massage and skin care franchise, is now approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a provider of continuing education. Hand & Stone currently offers a “Build Your Business” continuing education course and will soon be adding a “Code of Ethics” course. Completion of each course is worth one CE hour. Hand & Stone plans to offer additional education opportunities, including a live workshop that will offer therapists four CE credits.

“Being an approved CE provider for massage therapists helps prove our commitment to furthering our employees’ education,” says Doug Elman, Hand & Stone’s director of massage therapist training. “Well rounded, educated massage therapists, in turn, provide our clients with top quality services that exceed their expectations.”

Elman says the no-cost CE program will be a valuable recruitment and retention tool going forward. “Offering workshops and online courses means that therapists won’t have to take time off or travel long distances to earn more credits. Therapists can even take our elearning courses during their breaks simply by logging onto the Hand & Stone online portal.”
