In addition to the new ebook, there are several webinars from Thomas Myers available to all ABMP members in the ABMP Education Center. Free NCBTMB-approved CE can be earned by completing a short quiz for the following online massage courses:

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 1: Introduction

Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians is a revolutionary way of understanding the body's myofascial patterning. In this webinar, Thomas Myers overviews the process of BodyReading: how it works in practice and how to get started in making useful assessments.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 2: The Superficial Front Line

In this second webinar of the series, we explore visual assessment of the Superficial Front Line—the most sensitive and delicate of the Anatomy Trains lines. Explore the restrictions on breathing, emotion, and head-forward posture, which tension in the Superficial Front Line sling can create.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 3: The Superficial Back Line

In this third webinar of the series, we explore visual assessment of the Superficial Back Line. The Superficial Back Line connects and protects the entire posterior surface of the body like a carapace from the bottom of the foot to the top of the head in two pieces-toes to knees and knees to brow.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 4: The Lateral Lines

In this fourth webinar of the series, we explore visual assessment of the Lateral Lines. The Lateral Lines are out on the body's sides—east and west.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 5: The Spiral Line

In this fifth webinar of the series, we explore visual assessment of the Spiral Line. The overall movement function of the Spiral Line is to create and mediate spirals and rotations in the body and to steady the trunk and leg to keep it from folding into rotational collapse.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 6: The Arm Lines

In this sixth webinar of the series with Thomas Myers, we explore visual assessment of the Arm Lines. Identify four distinct myofascial meridians that run from the axial skeleton to the four quadrants of the arm and four "sides" of the hand: namely the thumb, little finger, palm, and the back of the hand.

BodyReading the Myofascial Meridians 7: The Deep Front Line

In this seventh and last webinar of the series, we explore the Deep Front Line as described in Thomas Myers' Anatomy Trains text. Learn how the Deep Front Line plays a major role in the body's support: lifting the inner arch; stabilizing each segment of the legs; supporting the lumbar spine from the front; and stabilizing the chest while allowing the expansion and relaxation of breathing.

Clinical Applications of Anatomy Trains Meridians

Join Thomas Myers for an engaging discussion of the Anatomy Trains, a revolutionary map that brings fascia, muscle, and movement together in a sensible and usable way. In this webinar, quickly review all of the myofascial meridian lines and explore more in depth the first four lines (Back, Front, Lateral, and Spiral) by looking at the clinical applications and treatment strategies of each.

Discovery Through Dissection

Noted Anatomy Trains author and educator, Thomas Myers, shares his discoveries of the human body through dissection. Myers believes that exploring the human form is one of the most certain ways of confirming or disproving bodywork theories. In this webinar, developed in partnership with Massage & Bodywork magazine, Myers illuminates the wonders of the body and helps us connect these wonders to our massage and bodywork practices.

Thomas Myers is the author of Anatomy Trains (Elsevier, 2001, 2009, 2014), coauthor of Fascial Release for Structural Balance (North Atlantic, 2010), and numerous articles for trade magazines and journals that have been collected in the books Body3, The Anatomist's Corner, and Structural Integration: Collected Articles. He has also produced over 15 DVDs and numerous webinars on visual assessment, fascial release technique, and the applications of fascial research. Myers and his faculty provide continuing education in Anatomy Trains and holistic myofascial strategies for a variety of movement and manual therapy professionals worldwide, as well as professional certification in structural integration based on the Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians. Myers studied directly with Drs. Ida Rolf, Moshe Feldenkrais, and Buckminster Fuller. He has also studied with movement teachers Judith Aston, Emilie Conrad, and in the martial arts. His work is influenced by cranial, visceral, and intrinsic movement studies with European schools of osteopathy. An inveterate traveler, Myers has practiced integrative manual therapy for 40 years in a variety of clinical and cultural settings.
