CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month

The following blog post is sponsored by Upledger Institute International

What is CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month? April has long been designated as International CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month. Upledger Institute International, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and health-care practitioners around the world focus on raising awareness of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) all month. CST is a gentle, hands-on treatment modality that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Why are We Celebrating CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month? Especially during this challenging time of striving to stay healthy, Upledger Institute International continues to encourage health-care practitioners around the globe to promote the importance of CST and client-centered health care.

How Can You Promote CST and its Benefits?

  • Display CST informational materials in a prominent location in your office or on your website.
  • Post and share articles and place ads on social media.
  • Place an informational CST article in local newspapers and/or regional association publications.
  • If you are a trained Upledger CranioSacral therapist, offer demonstration sessions and/or product discounts for the month of April to your clientele.

What is Upledger Institute International? Upledger Institute International is a health-care organization recognized worldwide as the leading provider of CST educational programs, advanced treatment options, and products. Dr. John E. Upledger, the developer of CranioSacral Therapy, had a vision and a passion to make sure that CST would always be available to anyone who could benefit from this gentle therapy. To fulfill his legacy, Upledger Institute International continues to offer classes in 122 countries and now has more than 150,000 alumni.
