ABMP Becomes Sponsor of International Massage Association

Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) is excited to partner with the International Massage Association (IMA) and the World Massage Championships. Based in the United States, ABMP has more than 80,000 practitioner members and offers a variety of support, including continuing education, practice-building materials, and a variety of other member benefits.

ABMP Vice President of Communication and Professional Outreach Leslie Young says she’s learned a great deal about the diversity of the profession abroad thanks to IMA’s Jeppe Tengbjerg. “We at ABMP are delighted to support Jeppe Tengbjerg and his mission to promote massage and bodywork education around the globe," Young says. "Our organizations share the same goal: helping practitioners be successful.”

In that spirit of support, ABMP is donating a year of free ABMP Associate membership (value $199 US) to the 2019 World Massage Championships winners following the competition in Copenhagen, June 22–23. ABMP is also extending this offer to designated International Massage Association instructors.

This level of international membership comes with access to more than 600 hours of online continuing education, access to ABMP Five-Minute Muscles online resource, the award-winning digital edition of Massage & Bodywork magazine, and many more benefits.

For more information or to join at the ABMP Associate membership level and receive a discount, visit ABMP.com/IMA. Please direct any questions to outreach@abmp.com.

The International Massage Association appreciates the sponsorship and look forward to many years of cooperation with Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
